If you fancy doing something thrilling with your group, get out on the water and try a ringo ride in Westport at Killary Adventure Centre.
Take in the gorgeous views of the Killary Fjord, one of the most beautiful locations on the west coast, before you get your seriously blood pumping.
Hop into the ringo where you’ll be towed by a 200 horsepower speedboat. Hold on tight or you’ll wipe out. But don’t worry too much if you do. It’s all part of what makes this activity so fun!
You’ll each get two or three rides, perfect for mastering your technique and seeing how long you can hold on for. Do you think you have what it takes to hold on the longest in your group?
Your instructor will give you some handy hints as well as kitting you out in wetsuits and helmets. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, doing some team building in Westport or just enjoying a fun day out, you’d better be ready to make a splash!
Important Information:
Available April-October.
Bring dry clothes, old trainers, swimwear and a towel.
You don’t need to be a strong swimmer but you must be comfortable in deep water.
