If your festive plans need a bit of a shake up, Christmas chocolate making in Glasgow gives a delicious and creative afternoon.
You’ll be given artisan chocolate from Willies Cacao to work with, then paired up and set loose with your own chocolate melting pot.
Once the chocolate is melted, you’ll pour it into moulds and start deciding exactly what deserves a place on top.
There’s no shortage of tempting choices, from chunks of fudge and crunchy honeycomb to crushed candy canes, gingerbread and other festive toppings.
Every person gets to make three chocolate bars, with dark, milk and white chocolate all part of the experience, plus a selection of smaller chocolate bites.
You’ll also get to take home over 150g of chocolate, which could make an excellent Christmas present for someone else if you can resist eating it yourself.
All the equipment is supplied, so you don’t need to turn up armed with a saucepan and a bag of baking chocolate.
An event host will guide you through the 90-minute session and make sure everything stays on track while you concentrate on the important business of decorating chocolate.
The workshop takes place at your own venue, making it a simple option for groups of mates, families and colleagues celebrating a Christmas party in Glasgow.
It’s hands on, a bit messy and guaranteed to give everyone something to chat about while they’re deciding who made the best chocolate!
